More and more foreign expats and graduates come to China not just to learn the language and to pimp up their CV, but to start their own business. A vibrant start-up scene, a developed and fast evolving e-commerce sector, a cutting edge tech environment, and, of course, the world's biggest consumer base are attracting young talents and entrepreneurs from around the globe.
However, busy with pitches and VC events, young entrepreneurs often overlook the real regulatory challenges, which foreign companies are facing in China. From intellectual property rights to license approval, the hurdles for protecting your idea and getting your business on a legal footing can be daunting.
In order to help young entrepreneurs, to get a better understanding of the challenges and the possible solutions, the Beijing Design Service Center and ECOVIS Beijing decided to offer young foreign start-up entrepreneurs the opportunity to talk to professionals face-to-face.
The first session will take place on 24 February 2017 from 1 pm to 3 pm.
